AuraGlow ("the App") is developed and maintained by LL Cloud Development & Operations ("we", "us", "our"). The App turns the HiLight LED ring on supported Google Pixel phones into a notification light. This policy explains what the App accesses, what leaves your device, and your rights.
AuraGlow never reads, stores or transmits the content of your notifications. It looks at which app posted a notification, and for messaging apps at an anonymous identifier of the conversation, only to decide which colour to show. That decision is made on your phone and the result never leaves it.
Required. Lets the App see that a notification arrived, which app posted it, and when it was cleared, so the light can go on and off. Message text and sender names are read only in memory to match a colour you configured for a contact, and are never stored or sent anywhere.
Required. Android only allows privileged system components to control the HiLight ring, so AuraGlow runs its small light renderer through the phone's own developer tools. You pair it once with the code Android shows you. The pairing happens entirely on the phone, over the loopback network interface, and the pairing key never leaves the device. The renderer talks only to the phone's own lights service. It has no network access and receives no notification data, only colours and timings. If you already run Shizuku, AuraGlow can use it instead.
Used for the pairing code field and to tell you when the light has stopped working. Nothing is posted otherwise.
Used only by the third-party services listed below. The App itself has no server.
The App collects a small amount of technical, non-identifying data through the services below. None of it contains notification content, contact names, or the list of apps you configured.
We do not use advertising identifiers, advertising SDKs, or any form of tracking across apps. The App shows no ads.
If you choose to send us a diagnostic report from the App, it contains your phone model, Android version, the App's settings, the package names of apps you enabled, and a timeline of technical events. It never contains notification content. You see the full report before sending it, and sending is always your choice.
Settings live only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data. Analytics and crash data are retained by the services above under their own retention periods and are not linked to your identity. To have any data deleted, contact us at the address below.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We will update this page when the policy changes and update the date at the top.
