Tessera ("the App") is developed and maintained by LL Cloud Development & Operations ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Tessera does not collect personally identifiable information. No account, email, or sign-in is required to use the App.
We do not use behavioural analytics, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking SDKs. Wallpaper image data, your settings, and your library never leave your device.
To deliver fresh curated artwork, the App makes the following network requests:
The App fetches a curated daily catalog and the artwork files themselves from our server at llcloud.app. These requests carry only the standard HTTP information (your IP address, User-Agent) needed to deliver the response. We do not log this information for analytics.
When you apply a wallpaper from our daily catalog, the App notifies the server which artwork was used so we can surface popular pieces over time. The ping contains only the artwork identifier — no user identifier, location, or device data is sent.
Pro users can browse beyond the daily curation by querying participating museum open-access APIs directly. These requests are anonymous and follow each museum's public terms of service. No identifier is attached.
The App requests Android permissions only as needed to deliver wallpaper functionality:
Used to apply the chosen artwork to your home and lock screen via Android's WallpaperManager.
Used to download artwork from our catalog and museum APIs. No background data sync happens beyond fetching wallpapers on the schedule you choose.
Pro features are available as a one-time purchase processed through the Google Play Store. The purchase transaction is handled entirely by Google. We use RevenueCat to verify purchase entitlements. No payment information is accessed or stored by the App. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID; no personally identifiable information is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Your settings, favourites, history, applied-config preferences, and cached artwork are stored locally on your device using Proto DataStore and the standard Android file cache. None of this data is transmitted off your device and it is deleted when you uninstall the App.
No analytics platforms or advertising networks are used.
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children or anyone else. As no personal data is collected, no age-specific provisions are necessary.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
