Is SlapPhone free?
Yes. Every game feature is free: slap detection, g-force scoring, all eight tiers, combos, crack effects, screen-off mode, charger reactions and the leaderboard, with the Classic voice pack. One purchase unlocks all ten voice packs forever. There is no subscription.
How does SlapPhone measure slap force?
SlapPhone reads your phone's built-in accelerometer, the same sensor that rotates the screen. Every hit is measured in g-force and scored from 0 to 100. At rest the phone reads 1g from gravity, a light tap is about 2 to 3g, a solid slap 8 to 16g, and a full-force hit can pass 30g. The score sets which of the eight tiers you land in.
Can slapping my phone break it?
You do not need to hit hard to play. Turn the sensitivity down and a light tap counts as a slap, so you can chase combos without real force. Slap the phone with an open hand, keep a firm grip, and play over something soft like a bed or sofa in case it slips. Never throw it.
What voice packs does SlapPhone have?
SlapPhone has 10 voice packs. Classic is free, with screams, ouches and panic. The other nine are Drama Queen, Tough Guy, Anime, Sultry, Breathless, Commentator, Robot, British and Goat. Each reaction escalates with the force of the hit. One purchase unlocks all of them, and you can preview each pack in Settings.
Does SlapPhone work with the screen off?
Yes. Turn on Screen-off mode in Settings and slap detection stays active with the screen off, reacting with vibration and sound. It works with the phone in your pocket, so you can leave it running on a table or hand it to a friend without them seeing what is on screen.
What does SlapPhone do when I plug in the charger?
Turn on charger reactions in Settings and SlapPhone reacts every time the charger is plugged in or unplugged, in whatever voice pack you have on. It works with the screen off, which makes it a classic prank to leave on a friend's phone before they plug it in for the night.
What are the slap tiers in SlapPhone?
There are eight tiers, from PATHETIC at the bottom to INHUMAN at the top. In between sit levels like Weak Sauce, Not Bad, Solid Slap, Hard and Brutal. The tier depends on your score, and the animated face reacts differently at each one. Your personal best and top 10 slaps are saved in Records.
